期刊導讀:基因突變、居家氡氣與非吸菸性肺癌之關係
在已開發城市肝癌及大腸癌的發生率及致死率都有降低,但是在許多開發中的國家卻是持續上升,主要的由於不良的生活習慣(如:抽菸、運動及高卡路里食物),而這些國家肺癌及大腸癌的發生率遠高於美國與其他西方國家。而其中又以肺癌為最主要致死的癌症(五年存活率約13-21 %),根據過去的統計資料,抽菸為最主要導致肺癌的風險因子,但除了抽菸外,導致肺癌的因子還包含有:環境因子(Environmental factors)及感受性基因(Genetic susceptibility)。此外,在近期的文獻中,發生在從未吸菸的肺癌病人當(Lung cancer in never smokers, LCINS)中,常常發現有EGFR基因的突變,其次第二常見的原因是居家氡氣的暴露。因此在此篇Review中,主要探討從未抽菸者居家氡氣與肺癌產生之關係,以及與哪些基因多型性(genetic polymorphisms)具有關聯。

從上一篇介紹中可以得知,EGFR與細胞生長、細胞存活、細胞爬行以及血管新生有關。因此這次來介紹近期研究發展出不同的EGFR抑制劑,透過抑制EGFR的活性達到抑制腫瘤的效果。
